More than 70 African women, directives of the port sector in their countries, have met in the auditorium of Casa África over the past three days, thanks to the traditional collaboration of the institution with the Ports Foundation of Las Palmas, which it supports in its work, launched in 2007, in the field of training women managers from the sector in the western and central coasts of Africa. Florentine Koidio, head of department at the Autonomous Port of Abidjan and representative of the Association of Professional Women Port Workers of the West and Central Coast of Africa, was one of those responsible for opening the meeting last Monday; together with Luis Ibarra, president of the Port Authority of Las Palmas, and Luis Padrón, director general of Casa África.

Más de 70 mujeres africanas, directivas del sector portuario en sus países, han ocupado en los últimos tres días el auditorio de Casa África, gracias a la tradicional colaboración de la institución con la Fundación Puertos de Las Palmas, a la que apoya en su labor, emprendida en el año 2007, en el ámbito de la formación de cuadros África, fue una de las responsables de dar comienzo al encuentro el pasado lunes, junto a Luis Ibarra, presidente de la Autoridad Portuaria de Las Palmas, y Luis Padrón, director general de Casa África.
