As Thailand's first faculty of pharmaceutical sciences the school has greatly contributed to the research and development of medicine and has continuously worked towards an effective and innovative growth of pharmaceutical sciences in Thailand. Established in 1913 the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences now has two programs in industrial pharmacy and pharmaceutical care and eight areas of graduate programs. For over a century the faculty has successfully produced outstanding graduates notable research and valuable academic services for society including the Museum of Natural Medicines Drug and Health Products Innovation and Promotion Center Pharmaceutical Technology Service Center and the Community Pharmacy Laboratory.

คณะเภสัชศาสตร์แห่งแรกของประเทศไทย ร่วมพัฒนาการดูแลการใช้ยาของประชาชนและขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมยาในประเทศให้มีศักยภาพและนวัตกรรม เปิดสอนระดับปริญญาบัณฑิตและระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา ในสาขาวิชาซึ่งสังกัดภาควิชาต่าง ๆ อาทิ ภาควิชาเภสัชกรรมและเภสัชอุตสาหกรรม อาหารและเภสัชเคมี เภสัชเวทและเภสัชพฤกษศาสตร์ เภสัชวิทยาและสรีรวิทยา ฯลฯ รวมทั้งเปิดสอนหลักสูตรนานาชาติ Pharmaceutical Technology และ Social and Administrative Pharmacy ในระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาด้วย
