The nail clippers (20) of the present invention comprise: a nail-cutter main body (21); a fingernail insertion part (22) provided in the main body in such a way as to allow finger nails to be inserted; and a cutter (30) which is provided to the centre of the fingernail insertion part, and which is provided in the main body in such a way as to apply a transverse shearing force to a fingernail which has been passed into the fingernail insertion part.
