وتحيط اللجنة علماً بإنشاء الوكالة الوطنية لمنع التعذيب لتكون بمثابة آلية وقائية وطنية بموجب البروتوكول الاختياري لاتفاقية مناهضة التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة، وهي تتألف من الوكالة الاتحادية لمنع التعذيب واللجنة المشتركة بين الولايات المعنية بمنع التعذيب.

The Committee takes note of the establishment of the National Agency for the Prevention of Torture to serve as the national preventive mechanism under the Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, which consists of the Federal Agency for the Prevention of Torture and the Joint Commission of the Länder for the Prevention of Torture.

El Comité toma nota del establecimiento, conforme al Protocolo Facultativo de la Convención contra la Tortura y Otros Tratos o Penas Crueles, Inhumanos o Degradantes, del Organismo Nacional para la Prevención de la Tortura como mecanismo nacional de prevención, el cual consta del Organismo Federal para la Prevención de la Tortura y la Comisión Mixta de los Länder para la Prevención de la Tortura.
