فالواقع أن الجدار يقام برمته تقريبا في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، وهناك ارتباط مباشر بين مسار الجدار والمستوطنات الإسرائيلية غير المشروعة المقامة في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة وموارد المياه في المنطقة.
