According to one embodiment of the present invention, a broadcast signal receiver comprises: a first OFDM demodulator and a second OFDM demodulator which perform OFDM demodulation on a first broadcast signal and on a second broadcast signal, respectively; a MIMO decoder which performs MIMO decoding on the OFDM demodulated first broadcast signal and the OFDM demodulated second broadcast signal to output a first signal and a second signal; a first frequency deinterleaver and a second frequency deinterleaver which deinterleave the first signal and the second signal outputted from the MIMO decoder, respectively, in a frequency domain; and a frame parser which parses frame structures of the first signal and of the second signal outputted from the MIMO decoder, and which merges the first signal and the second signal outputted from the MIMO decoder in order to output a third signal.

본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 방송 신호 수신기는 제 1 방송 신호 및 제 2 방송 신호를 각각 OFDM 복조하는 제 1 OFDM 디모듈레이터 및 제 2 OFDM 디모듈레이터; 상기 복조된 제 1 방송 신호 및 제 2 방송 신호를 MIMO 디코딩하여 제 1 출력 신호 및 제 2 출력 신호를 출력하는 MIMO 디코더; 상기 제 1 출력 신호 및 상기 제 2 출력 신호를 주파수 도메인에서 디인터리빙하는 제 1 프리퀀시 디인터리버 및 제 2 프리퀀시 디인터리버; 상기 제 1 출력 신호 및 제 2 출력 신호의 프레임 구조를 파싱하고, 상기 제 1 출력 신호 및 상기 제 2 출력 신호를 머징하여 제 3 출력 신호를 출력하는 프레임 파서를 포함한다.
