واطُلع على خبرة اثنتين من المؤسسات غير التابعة لمنظومة الأمم المتحدة - هما منظمة التعاون والتنمية في الميدان الاقتصادي ولجنة الاتحاد الأوروبي - وحضر المفتشون اجتماعين عقدا في جنيف، أحدهما هو الاجتماع المشترك بين الوكالات المعني بترتيبات اللغات والوثائق والمنشورات والآخر هو الاجتماع المشترك بين الوكالات المعني بالترجمة بمساعدة الحاسوب والمصطلحات.

The experience of two non‐United Nations system institutions ‐ the Organisation for Economic Co‐operation and Development (OECD) and the Commission of the European Union (EU) ‐ was looked into and the Inspectors attended two meetings of the Inter‐Agency Meeting on Language Arrangements, Documentation and Publications (IAMLADP) and the Joint Inter‐Agency Meeting on Computer‐Assisted Terminology and Translation (JIAMCATT) held in Geneva.

Se examinó la experiencia de dos instituciones ajenas al sistema de las Naciones Unidas –la Organización de Cooperación y Desarrollo Económicos (OCDE) y la Comisión de la Unión Europea (UE)– y los Inspectores asistieron a dos reuniones, la Reunión entre organismos sobre disposiciones en materia de idiomas, documentación y publicaciones (IAMLADP) y la Reunión interorganismos sobre terminología y traducción con soporte informático (JIAMCATT), celebradas en Ginebra.

Les inspecteurs ont tenu compte de l’expérience de deux institutions n’appartenant pas au système des Nations Unies − l’Organisation de coopération et de développement économiques (OCDE) et la Commission de l’Union européenne (UE) − et ils ont participé à une réunion interorganisations concernant les services linguistiques, la documentation et les publications (IAMLADP) et une réunion interinstitutions sur la terminologie et la traduction assistées par ordinateur (JIAMCATT) tenues à Genève.

Был изучен опыт двух учреждений, не относящихся к системе Организации Объединенных Наций, ‐ Организации экономического сотрудничества и развития (ОЭСР) и Комиссии Европейского союза (ЕС), ‐ и инспекторы приняли участие в двух заседаниях межучрежденческого совещания по вопросам перевода, документации и изданий (МУСВПДИ) и Совместного межучрежденческого совещания по вопросам применения компьютеров в области перевода и терминологии (ЖИАМКАТТ), состоявшихся в Женеве.
