Two symmetrically placed lighting units shall be positioned at a height in compliance with the requirements of the relevant paragraphs 6.1.4. and 6.2.4., where "Two symmetrically placed lighting units" shall be understood to be two lighting units, one on each side of the vehicle, positioned such that the (geometric) centres of gravity of their apparent surfaces are at the same height and at the same distance from the vehicle's longitudinal median plane within a tolerance of 50 mm, each; their light emitting surfaces, illuminating surfaces, and light outputs, however, may differ.

Deux unités d’éclairage placées symétriquement doivent être placées à une hauteur conforme aux prescriptions des paragraphes 6.1.4 et 6.2.4. Par «Deux unités d’éclairage placées symétriquement», il faut entendre deux unités d’éclairage, une de chaque côté du véhicule, placées de telle façon que les centres (géométriques) de gravité de leurs surfaces apparentes se trouvent à la même hauteur et à la même distance du plan médian longitudinal du véhicule, avec pour chacune une tolérance de 50 mm; leurs surfaces de sortie de la lumière, leurs plages éclairantes et leurs intensités lumineuses peuvent toutefois différer.

Два симметрично расположенных световых модуля устанавливают на высоте согласно требованиям соответствующих пунктов 6.1.4 и 6.2.4; при этом под "двумя симметрично расположенными световыми модулями" подразумевают два световых модуля, установленных по одному с каждой стороны транспортного средства таким образом, чтобы (геометрические) центры тяжести их видимых поверхностей были на одинаковой высоте и на одинаковом расстоянии от средней продольной плоскости транспортного средства с допустимым отклонением 50 мм; однако их светоизлучающие поверхности, освещающие поверхности и сила света могут различаться.
