A compressor apparatus (100) having a first compressor head (102) for generating a first gas flow and a second compressor head (104) for generating a second gas flow with a shuttling by-pass component (108) in fluid flow communication between the first and second compressor heads (102, 104) for allowing the output of a portion of either the first gas flow or the second gas flow to be diverted to the other compressor head (102, 104) is disclosed.

La présente invention concerne un appareil compresseur (100) comportant une première tête de compresseur (102) servant à générer un premier flux gazeux et une seconde tête de compresseur (104) servant à générer un second flux gazeux. L'appareil comprend également un tiroir (108) en communication d'écoulement fluidique entre la première et la seconde des têtes de compresseur (102, 104) de façon à permettre à une partie du premier flux gazeux ou du second flux gazeux d'être détournée vers l'autre tête de compresseur (102, 104).
