Canadian Heritage and the Francophone community sector agree that the social fabric of communities is strengthened and civic engagement is increased when they work together to address issues of mutual concern, and that: Working together to identify common priorities or complementary objectives will facilitate cooperation and collaboration; and Working relationships should be flexible and respect what others contribute, as well as the challenges and constraints under which they operate.

Le ministère du Patrimoine canadien et le mouvement associatif francophone conviennent qu’une intervention conjointe dans des secteurs d’intérêts communs contribue à renforcer le tissu social des communautés et à mobiliser davantage les citoyennes et les citoyens, et ils s’entendent sur le fait que : lorsqu’ils travaillent de concert à définir des priorités communes ou des objectifs complémentaires, le climat de coopération et de collaboration s’en trouve amélioré; et
