Doing their mandate, for criminal actions committed within the Community of the Basque Country, the Lehendakari and the members of the Government, shall not be detained or held except in the case of a flagrant crime, and the Higher Court of Justice of the Basque Country shall be responsible for taking a decision, in all cases, as to their accusation, remanding in custody, trial and judgment.

El Lehendakari y los miembros del Gobierno, durante su mandato y por los actos delictivos cometidos en el ámbito territorial de la Comunidad de Euskadi, no podrán ser detenidos ni retenidos, sino en caso de flagrante delito, correspondiendo decidir, en todo caso, sobre su inculpación, prisión, procesamiento y juicio al Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Euskadi.

Le Président et les membres du Gouvernement ne pourront être arrêtés ou détenus au cours de leur mandat pour des actes délictueux commis sur le territoire de la Communauté du Pays Basque, quen cas de flagrant délit; dans tous les cas, cest au Tribunal de la Communauté du Pays Basque quil appartiendra de statuer sur leur inculpation, incarcération, procès et jugement.
