Besides, an electrothermal vaporization atomic fluorescence spectral method for determining cadmium comprises: (1) drying and incinerating in air a sample to be determined to obtain ash; (2) in an argon atmosphere, heating up the ash to 1600~2000°C, and contacting the obtained vapor with a tungsten filament or a molybdenum filament to trap cadmium atom therein; (3) in hydrogen and argon atmosphere, heating up the tungsten filament or the molybdenum filament to 1600~2000°C to release cadmium atom, and analyzing the content of cadmium by an atomic fluorescence spectrometer.
