In paragraph 12 of his report, the Chair of the Advisory Committee recommends, as part of the Committee’s revised conditions of service, formalization of the arrangement whereby the members of the Committee are offered the option of enrolling in the United Nations health insurance plans, upon payment of the full cost of the related insurance premium, similar to the arrangement currently in place for the Chair of the Committee.

En el párrafo 12 de su informe, el Presidente de la Comisión Consultiva recomienda, como parte de las condiciones de servicio revisadas de la Comisión, formalizar la posibilidad de que los miembros de la Comisión tengan la opción de inscribirse en los planes de seguro médico de las Naciones Unidas, pagando el costo integral de la prima de seguro, de forma similar a lo que ocurre actualmente con el Presidente de la Comisión.

Au paragraphe 12 de son rapport, le Président du Comité consultatif recommande de systématiser, dans le cadre des nouvelles conditions d’emploi, l’arrangement selon lequel les membres du Comité ont la possibilité de s’affilier à l’un des régimes d’assurance maladie proposés aux fonctionnaires des Nations Unies, à condition qu’ils prennent à leur charge l’intégralité du montant de la prime d’assurance, ainsi que cela est le cas pour lui.
