Den 24. maj 2010 offentliggjorde Nexans Corporate, som er et multinationalt fransk selskab, der fremstiller kabler og kabelsystemer, og som i Italien har tre fabrikker i Latina, Battipaglia (Salerno) og Offida (Ascoli Piceno) samt et forretningssted i Milano, beslutningen om, at de vil lukke fabrikken i Latina og flytte produktionen til de to andre fabrikker.

On 24 May 2010 Nexans Corporate, a French multinational which manufactures cables and wiring systems and, as far as Italy is concerned, has three production plants, namely in Latina, Battipaglia (Salerno), and Offida (Ascoli Piceno), and its business headquarters in Milan, officially announced its decision to close the Latina plant and transfer the production in question to the other two factories.
