El Reglamento de Empleo (Reclutamiento de Trabajadores Migratorios Ugandeses en el Extranjero) de 2005 especifica la necesidad de seminarios de orientación previos a la partida para los trabajadores migratorios; el derecho a ausentarse temporalmente sin que ello afecte a la autorización de permanecer o trabajar en el país; el derecho a la libertad de circulación en el Estado de empleo y a escoger libremente en él su lugar de residencia.

La réglementation de 2005 sur l’emploi (recrutement de travailleurs migrants ougandais à l’étranger) impose l’organisation à l’intention des travailleurs migrants, avant leur départ, de séminaires d’orientation; le droit pour ces travailleurs de s’absenter temporairement sans que cela n’affecte leur autorisation de séjour ou de travail; et le droit de circuler librement sur le territoire de l’État d’emploi et d’y choisir librement leur résidence.
