ق1373: البند1: بعد إستلام الأعمال، وبعد أن يتشاور الأسقف الأبرشيّ مع المحقِّق والمعاون، ويقيّم ملاحظات المحامي عن الوثاق، ودفاعات الأطراف، إنْ وُجدت، فليصدر الحكم إذا تكوّن لديه اليقين الأدبيّ حول بطلان الزواج. وإلّا فليحوِّل الدعوى إلى المحاكمة بالطريقة العاديّة.

An appeal against the sentence of the bishop is made to the metropolitan or to the Roman Rota; if, however, the sentence was rendered by a metropolitan or another eparchical bishop who does not have a superior authority below the Roman Pontiff, the appeal is made to a bishop selected by him in a stable manner after consultation with the Patriarch or Hierarch as indicated in can.

Contro la sentenza del Vescovo si dà appello al Metropolita o alla Rota Romana; se la sentenza è stata emessa dal Metropolita o da altro Vescovo eparchiale che non ha un’autorità superiore sotto il Romano Pontefice, si dà appello al Vescovo da esso designato stabilmente, dopo aver consultato il Patriarca o il Gerarca di cui al can.

Od wyroku biskupa przysługuje apelacja do metropolity lub do Roty Rzymskiej; jeżeli wyrok został wydany przez metropolitę lub innego biskupa eparchialnego, który nie ma zwierzchnika niżej niż Biskup Rzymski, przysługuje apelacja do biskupa wybranego na stałe wybranego przez siebie, po konsultacji z Patriarchą lub Hierarcha, o którym w kan.
