فعلى مدى العقد الماضي، تزايد تدريجيا نشاط العديد من المنظمات دون الإقليمية في مجال تعزيز بناء القدرات الإحصائية الوطنية كل في منطقتها دون الإقليمية، ومن تلك المنظمات رابطة أمم جنوب شرق آسيا، واللجنة الإحصائية المشتركة بين دول رابطة الدول المستقلة، ورابطة جنوب آسيا للتعاون الإقليمي، وأمانة جماعة المحيط الهادئ (انظر E/ESCAP/CST/INF/19 و E/ESCAP/CST/INF/17 و E/ESCAP/CST/INF/23.

Over the past decade, many subregional organizations, including the Association of South-East Asian Nations, the Interstate Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation and the Secretariat of the Pacific Community, have become increasingly active in promoting national statistical capacity-building in their respective subregion (see E/ESCAP/CST/INF/19, E/ESCAP/CST/INF/17 and E/ESCAP/CST/INF/23).

Durante el último decenio, muchas organizaciones subregionales, incluida la Asociación de Naciones del Asia Sudoriental, el Comité Estadístico Interestatal de la Comunidad de Estados Independientes, la Asociación del Asia Meridional para la Cooperación Regional y la secretaría de la Comunidad del Pacífico, han participado cada vez más en la promoción de la creación de capacidad estadística nacional en sus respectivas subregiones (véase E/ESCAP/CST/INF/19, E/ESCAP/CST/INF/17 y E/ESCAP/CST/INF/23).
