There are four types of HMR: RTP (Ready To Prepare) Food ingredients can be cooked conveniently; RTC (Ready To Cook) Simple food that can be eaten quickly after cooking; RTH (Ready to Heat) Food that can be cooked directly by means of a microwave or similar small appliance; and RTE (Ready to Eat) Food that can be eaten immediately after the packaging is removed.

HMR에는 4가지 종류가 있다. – RTP(Ready To Prepared) '요리용 간편식'이라는 뜻으로 식재료를 요리하기 편하게 씻고 작게 나눈 제품이다. – RTC(Ready To Cook) ‘조리용 간편식’이라는 뜻으로 간단히 조리 후 먹을 수 있는 음식이다. – RTH(Ready to Heat) ‘반조리용 간편식’이라는 뜻으로 가열하여 바로 먹을 수 있는 음식이다. – RTE(Ready to Eat) ‘즉석 간편식’이라는 뜻으로 포장제거 후 바로 먹을 수 있는 음식이다.
