Als Kriterien für die Dauer der Ascorbinsäurebehandlung sowie den weiteren Heilungsverlauf dienten uns der Rückgang der Serumbilirubinwerte bis zur Norm, die Dauer der Ausschiedung von Bilirubin, Urobilinogen und Urobilin im Harn, der Ausfall der Blutkörperchensenkungsreaktion, der Rückgang der testbaren Lebervergrößerung und die Beurteilung des Gewichtsverlaufes.

As criteria for the duration of the ascorbic acid treatment as well as the further healing process we used: the decrease of serum bilirubin content to normal; the duration of the excretion of bilirubin, urobilinogen and urobilin in the urine; the resolution of the blood corpuscle sedimenatation reaction; the decrease the testable liver enlargement and; the evaluation of changes in weight.
