In New York, the Special Rapporteur met the Chef de Cabinet of the Secretary‐General, the Assistant Secretary‐General for Political Affairs, the Personal Representative of the Secretary‐General for Afghanistan and Head of the United Nations Special Mission to Afghanistan (UNSMA), the Emergency Relief Coordinator, a.i., the Special Adviser to the Secretary‐General on Gender Issues and the Advancement of Women, and other senior United Nations officials.
