The Mining Inspector shall have the power to summarily order any mining works to be so carried on as not to interfere with or endanger the safety of the public or any employees of such mining works, any public work or highway, or any mining property, mineral claims, mining claims, bed-rock drains, or bed-rock flumes; and any abandoned works may by his order be either filled up or guarded to his satisfaction.

L’inspecteur des exploitations minières a le pouvoir d’ordonner sommairement que tous les travaux d’exploitation minière soient exécutés de manière à ne pas gêner ou exposer la sécurité du public ou des ouvriers employés à ces travaux, ou d’un ouvrage ou chemin public, ou d’une propriété minière, d’un claim minéral, de claims miniers, d’un drain de roches de fond ou d’un canal de roches de fond. Tous les travaux abandonnés peuvent être, par ordre de l’inspecteur des exploitations minières, comblés ou gardés à sa satisfaction.
