وكما تم تحديد ذلك في مذكرة التفاهم المبرمة بين مؤتمر الأطراف والصندوق الدولي للتنمية الزراعية، سترد تقديرات الميزانية للآلية العالمية في فرع منفصل من ميزانية الاتفاقية المقدمة إلى مؤتمر الأطراف، ويمكن أن تشمل النفقات الإدارية والتشغيلية التي سيتم تمويلها من الميزانية الأساسية للاتفاقية، وإن اقتضى الأمر، من حساب التبرعات لتغطية النفقات الإدارية.

As specified in the MoU between the COP and IFAD, the budget estimates for the Global Mechanism shall be shown in a separate section of the Convention budget submitted to the COP, and may include administrative and operational expenditures to be financed both from the core budget of the Convention, and, if appropriate, from the Voluntary Contributions Administrative Expenses (VCAE) Account.

Como se especificó en el memorando de entendimiento entre la CP y el FIDA, las estimaciones presupuestarias correspondientes al Mecanismo Mundial figurarán en una sección aparte del presupuesto de la Convención presentado a la CP y podrán comprender los gastos administrativos y de funcionamiento que habrán de financiarse con cargo al presupuesto básico de la Convención y, según proceda, con cargo a la Cuenta de contribuciones voluntarias para gastos administrativos.
