The usage of modern goniometers rather than old fashion ones, will minimize the measurement error enabling a better identification of the variation in the ROM. Objective: Validate a digital goniometer (GD) Hawk HTC used to measure the knee flexion and extension, find the device measurement error and verify the measurement accurateness against the motion analysis system (SAM). Hypothesis: The reliability level of a GD to quantify the knee degree of motion, the velocity (V) and the acceleration (A) is comparable to other complex and previously validated systems, as in the case of SAM. Methodology: Observational, transversal and analytical study performed to a single subject conducting free flexion-extension movements.

Una manera de objetivar el mantenimiento o el cambio en el ROM es la utilización de goniómetros más modernos que el goniómetro manual para reducir al máximo el posible error que pudiera darse en la medida. Objetivo: Validar el goniómetro digital (GD) Hawk HCT como instrumento de medida para la flexo-extensión de rodilla, conocer el error del aparato de medida y comprobar que la medición realizada es precisa, siendo ésta comparada con el sistema de análisis de movimiento (SAM). Hipótesis: La utilización del GD Hawk HCT para medir los grados de movimiento de la articulación de la rodilla o ROM, velocidad (V) y unicéntrico que se llevará a cabo con un único sujeto, el cual realizará movimientos de flexo-extensión de rodilla de forma libre.
