The invention also provides for a control system for controlling the torque applied to starting a grinding mill, wherein the system includes using a pre-determined angle of repose, controlling a real angle of repose of a charge such that the real angle of repose coincides with the pre-determined angle of repose through the manipulation of the torque of the motor and wherein the angle of repose is controlled in such a way as to encourage tumbling of the charge.

L'invention porte également sur un système de commande pour commander le couple appliqué au démarrage d'un broyeur, le système comprenant l'utilisation d'un angle de talus naturel prédéterminé, la vérification d'un angle de talus naturel réel d'une charge de telle sorte que l'angle de talus naturel réel coïncide avec l'angle de talus naturel prédéterminé par la manipulation du couple du moteur et l'angle de talus naturel étant commandé de manière à favoriser la chute de la charge.
