The University of Kansas (KU) is a public research university with its main campus in Lawrence, Kansas, and several satellite campuses, research and educational centers, medical centers, and classes across the state of Kansas. Two branch campuses are in the Kansas City metropolitan area on the Kansas side: the university's medical school and hospital in Kansas City, the Edwards Campus in Overland Park, and a hospital and research center in the state's capital of Topeka.

มหาวิทยาลัยแคนซัส ( มักย่อว่า เคยู (KU) หรือ แคนซัส) เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยในสหรัฐอเมริกา ตั้งอยู่ที่เมืองลอว์เรนซ์ ในรัฐแคนซัส มหาวิทยาลัยก่อตั้งในปี ค.ศ. 1865 มหาวิทยาลัยมีคณาจารย์และนักวิจัยประมาณ 5,500 คน และนักศึกษาประมาณ 27,000 คน นอกจากวิทยาเขตหลักในเมืองลอว์เรนซ์แล้ว มหาวิทยาลัยมีศูนย์การแพทย์ (KU Medical Center) ซึ่งเป็นที่ตั้งของโรงพยาบาล (University of Kansas Hospital) ตั้งอยู่ที่เมืองแคนซัสซิตี
