[9] Gegen Adornos Substantialisierung der Autonomie bürgerlicher Kunst gewandt, konnte allerdings schon lange eingewendet werden, dass gerade diese als totale, heteronomisierende und hierarchisierende Praxis wirkt und den Raum der Produktion wie der Rezeption kerbt: Der vielstufige Produktionsapparat des bürgerlichen Theaters etwa oder die extreme Disziplin in klassischen Orchestern korreliert den Rezeptionsgewohnheiten in beiden Feldern.

[9] Counter to Adorno’s substantialization of the autonomy of bourgeois art, however, it has long been asserted that specifically this has the effect of a total, heteronomizing and hierarchizing praxis, striating both the space of production and of reception: the four-stage production apparatus of bourgeois theatre, for instance, or the extreme discipline in classical orchestras correlates to the habits of reception in both fields.

[9] Contra la substancialización que Adorno hace de la autonomía adscrita al arte burgués se podría haber objetado hace tiempo que precisamente ésta tiene el efecto de una praxis total, heteronomizante y jerárquica, y que perfila tanto el espacio de la producción como el de la recepción: el aparato de producción jerarquizado del teatro burgués o la disciplina extrema en las orquestas clásicas se correlaciona con los hábitos de recepción en ambos campos.
