Hadjimichael (Cyprus), Chair of the Committee on Relations with the Host Country, introducing the report of the Committee (A/66/26), said that the Committee had been instrumental in securing the host country’s support in facilitating the opening of accounts with other financial institutions by permanent missions to the United Nations whose accounts had been closed by JP Morgan Chase Bank.
