The upgrade project involves the addition of a new museum wing to accommodate travelling exhibitions; the construction of a new 150-seat multi-use performing arts theatre; and renovation of the interior of the existing permanent exhibit spaces to include a new First Nations gallery and new Sports Hall of Fame gallery.
