I Rådets direktiv 1999/70/EF af 28. juni 1999 om rammeaftalen vedrørende tidsbegrænset ansættelse, der er indgået af Den Europæiske Faglige Samarbejdsorganisation (EFS), Sammenslutningen af Industri- og Arbejdsgiverorganisationer i Europa (UNICE) og Det Europæiske Center for Offentlige Virksomheder (CEEP), er det fastsat, at en arbejdsgiver skal informere sine arbejdstagere med tidsbegrænset ansættelse om, hvilke ledige stillinger der kan søges, for at sikre, at de bliver givet samme mulighed for at få en fast stilling som andre ansatte.

Die Richtlinie 1999/70/EG des Rates vom 28. Juni 1999 zur Rahmenvereinbarung über befristete Arbeitsverträge zwischen dem Europäischen Gewerkschaftsbund (EGB), der Union der Industrie- und Arbeitgeberverbände Europas (UNICE) und dem Europäischen Zentralverband der öffentlichen Wirtschaft (CEEP) sieht vor, dass Arbeitnehmer mit befristeten Arbeitsverträgen vom Arbeitgeber von Stellenangeboten in Kenntnis gesetzt werden müssen, um zu gewährleisten, dass sie dieselbe Möglichkeit haben, eine unbefristete Arbeitsstelle zu erlangen, wie andere Arbeitnehmer.

Council Directive 1999/70/EC of 28 June 1999 concerning the framework agreement on fixed-term work concluded by the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), the Union of Industrial and Employers' Confederations of Europe (UNICE) and the Centre of Enterprises with Public Participation (CEEP) stipulates that employers must inform fixed-term workers about vacancies to ensure that they have the same opportunity to secure permanent positions as other workers.
