Bei der Erneuerung des Römischen Meßbuches sind aber nicht nur die bisher erwähnten drei Teile (das eucharistische Hochgebet, der Ordo Missae und die Leseordnung) geändert worden; auch die anderen sind überprüft und erheblich verändert worden: die Eigenmessen des Herrenjahres, die Eigenmessen für die Gedenktage der Heiligen, die Commune-Texte für die Gedenktage der Heiligen, die Messen zu bestimmten Feiern und die Votivmessen.

In this revision of the Roman Missal, in addition to the three changes mentioned above, namely, the Eucharistic Prayer, the Rite for the Mass and the Biblical Reading, other parts also have been reviewed and considerably modified: the Proper of Seasons, the Proper of Saints, the Common of Saints, ritual Masses and votive Masses.
