In contrast to the fold structures of the first generation, which can be recognised every where in the area studied, the macroscopic folds of the second generation are developed only in the northern part of the area, where they form two irregular anticlines. In contrast to the opinion of earlier workers the mapped area cannot be divided into different fold belts along major fault zones.
