وفي 19 آب/أغسطس 2009 وعملا بالمادة 76 (9) من الاتفاقية، أودعت أيرلندا لدى الأمين العام قائمة بالإحداثيات الجغرافية لنقاط تشمل المسند الجيوديسي، مشفوعة بخريطة توضيحية تقدم وصفا ثابتا للحدود الخارجية لجرفها القاري فيما يتجاوز مسافة 200 ميل بحري من خطوط الأساس التي يقاس منها عرضُ البحر الإقليمي لأيرلندا في المنطقة المتاخمة لسهل بوركيوباين السحيق.

On 19 August 2009, Ireland deposited with the Secretary-General, pursuant to article 76(9) of the Convention, a list of geographical coordinates of points, including geodetic datum, accompanied by an illustrative map, permanently describing the outer limits of its continental shelf beyond 200 nautical miles from the baselines from which the breadth of the territorial sea of Ireland is measured in the area abutting the Porcupine Abyssal Plain.
