본 발명은 줄기세포 배양방법을 이용하여 발굴된 유방암 줄기세포 마커 유전자의 mRNA 수준 또는 이로부터 발현되는 단백질의 수준을 측정하는 제제를 포함하는 유방암 예후 예측용 조성물, 상기 조성물을 포함하는 유방암 예후 예측용 키트 및 상기 조성물 또는 키트를 이용하여 유방암 환자의 예후를 예측하기 위한 진단 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 조성물 또는 키트를 이용하면, 유방암 환자를 대상으로 유방암 치료를 수행할 경우, 재발 또는 전이 등의 치료예후를 효과적으로 예측할 수 있으므로, 유방암의 효과적인 치료에 널리 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
