Heats of solution of 10 nonpolar solutes (carbon tetrachloride, perfluoroheptane, diiodomethane, benzene, hexane, decane, hexadecane, cyclohexane, toluene, and mesitylene) in 11 nonpolar solvents (heptane, cyclohexane, carbon tetrachloride, benzene, carbon disulfide, diiodomethane, toluene, mesitylene, tetrachloroethylene, 1,1,2-trichlorotrifluoroethane, and hexadecane) have been combined with solute heats of vaporization to give enthalpies of transfer from vapor to solvent (ΔH(v → S)).

On a combiné les chaleurs de solution de 10 solutés non-polaires (chlorure de carbone, perfluoroheptane, diiodométhane, benzène, hexane, décane, hexadécane, cyclohexane, toluène et mésitylène) dans 11 solvants non-polaires (heptane, cyclohexane, tétrachlorure de carbone, benzène, disulfure de carbone, diiodométhane, toluène, mésitylène, tétrachloroéthylène, trichloro-1,1,2 trifluoroéthane et hexadécane) avec les chaleurs de vaporisation des solutés et on en a déduit les enthalpies de transfert de la vapeur au solvent (ΔH(v → S)).
