According to Der Manuelian and Loeben (1993) the dedication inscription of Hatshepsut is one of the rare examples of historical dedication inscriptions on royal sarcophagi (there is a 2nd example on the sarcophagus finally prepared for Thutmosis I by Thutmosis III).
