ترحب أيضا بالجهود التي تضطلع بها وكالات منظومة الأمم المتحدة، الأعضاء في فرقة العمل المشتركة بين الوكالات والمعنية بتشيرنوبيل، من أجل تنفيذ نهج إنمائي جديد لدراسة الآثار الناجمة عن كارثة تشيرنوبيل وتخفيفها وتقليلها، وتطلب إلى فرقة العمل المشتركة بين الوكالات والمعنية بتشيرنوبيل مواصلة القيام بأنشطتها تحقيقا لتلك الغاية؛

begrüßt außerdem die Anstrengungen, die die Organisationen des Systems der Vereinten Nationen, die Mitglieder der interinstitutionellen Arbeitsgruppe für Tschernobyl sind, unternommen haben, um bei der Untersuchung, Milderung und Minimierung der Folgen der Katastrophe von Tschernobyl einen neuen, entwicklungsbezogenen Ansatz anzuwenden, und ersucht die interinstitutionelle Arbeitsgruppe für Tschernobyl, ihre diesbezüglichen Tätigkeiten weiterzuführen

Also welcomes the efforts undertaken by the agencies of the United Nations system, members of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Chernobyl to implement a new developmental approach to studying, mitigating and minimizing the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster, and requests the Inter-Agency Task Force on Chernobyl to continue further its activities to that end

Acoge también con beneplácito las iniciativas adoptadas por los organismos del sistema de las Naciones Unidas que forman parte del Grupo de Trabajo Interinstitucional sobre Chernobyl a fin de aplicar un nuevo enfoque de desarrollo para estudiar, mitigar y reducir al mínimo las consecuencias del desastre de Chernobyl y pide al Grupo de Trabajo que siga desempeñando sus actividades a tal fin
