Nach 1.Chronik 28,18 ist der Kerub das Bild des göttlichen Wagens, was an Hesekiel 1 und 10 erinnert, wo die Kerubim den lebendigen Wagen bilden, auf welchem der Gott Israels einher fährt (vgl. Psalm 18,11; 2.Samuel 22,11), auf denen er schwebt, um Gericht zu halten (vgl.
