وبعد أن أشار إلى أن الشكاوى التي سبق أن قدمتها اللجنة إلى الجمعية العامة لم تساعد على ما يبدو على تحسين الأمور، طلب من الأمين العام المساعد إسداء المشورة بشأن التدابير الداخلية التي يمكن أن تتخذها اللجنة لتحسين الوضع.

Noting that the Committee’s previous complaints to the General Assembly seemed not to have helped matters, he asked the Assistant Secretary-General to provide guidance on internal measures the Committee might take to improve the situation.
