We studied the regeneration of palms in the Fauna and Flora Otún-Quimbaya Sanctuary along five transects of 50x4 m (0,1 ha) in five forest types: mature native forest (MNF), secondary forest (SF), pine plantation (Pinus patula) (PP), oak plantation (Quercus humboldtii) (OP), and Chinese ash plantation (Fraxinus chinensis) (AP).

En el Santuario de Fauna y Flora Otún-Quimbaya (SFFOQ) se evaluó la regeneración de palmas a partir de cinco transectos de 50 x 4 m (0,1 ha) por tipo de bosque: bosque nativo maduro (BNM), bosque nativo secundario (BNS), plantación forestal de pino (Pinus patula) (PP), de roble (Quercus humboldtii) (PR) y de urapán (Fraxinus chinensis) (PU).
