«Many have lost their lives and we can not normalize what is happening in Colombia» said Julisa Mosquera, survivor of the armed conflict and a district councilor for Black Communities, who joined the realization of this artwork. In relation to the hopes they have for the Truth Commission, Mosquera said she hoped their investigations would uncover the truth. «We need to know who displaced us, not only those who committed the crime but also who are the intellectual authors of the extermination of our community» she stated.

«Son muchos los que han perdido la vida y no se puede naturalizar lo que está pasando en Colombia» afirmó Julisa Mosquera, sobreviviente del conflicto armado y consejera Distrital de Comunidades Negras quien se unió a la elaboración de la obra, refiriéndose a las expectativas que tienen frente a la Comisión de la Verdad, «necesitamos saber quiénes fueron las personas que nos desplazaron, pero no solo los que lo cometieron sino quiénes fueron los que intelectualmente diseñaron la forma de exterminio de nuestra comunidad».
