It is easy to look at a group like Combichrist, an American Aggrotech metal group, and immediately associate them with “goth rock” - their heavy usage of dark makeup and costuming bears no resemblance to anything glamorous, but is much more in line with that of other gothic styled artists, such as the Swedish goth group, Deathstars.
