With the help of Juan Belliure, I assisted in dismantling the ribs, beams, planking, deck, the construction of the mast, boom, peak and bowsprit and also the engine-fitting.

Es difícil describir las sensaciones que se apoderan de uno cuando se consigue iniciar el camino deseado durante años, pero más difícil todavía es transmitir a tu familia que la felicidad que te embarga se debe a la adquisición de un montón de astillas (que evidentemente no enseñas para no ser tachado de demente). Durante 16 meses, hasta que el EVA, sin arbolar, se botó en Benalmádena, para realizar las pruebas de estabilidad, asistí, siempre apoyado por Juan Belliure, al desmontaje y saneado de cuadernas, baos, forro y cubierta, a la construcción del palo, botavara, pico y bauprés, así como a la instalación del motor.
