Natürliche Grundstrahlung ist die Gesamtheit der ionisierenden Strahlungen, die von natürlichen terrestrischen und von kosmischen Strahlenquellen herrühren, sofern die durch sie verursachten Bestrahlungen durch menschliche Tätigkeiten nicht nennenswert erhöht worden sind.
