وأشار معهد دراسة الدين والسياسات العامة كذلك إلى أن المحكمة العليا أيدت في عام 2006، طبقاً لقانون الأديان لعام 1997، قرار لجنة الدولة للعلاقات مع الطوائف والجماعات الدينية برفض طلب تسجيل الحركة الإصلاحية للسبتيين(58).
