Kerala proposed to execute the project by itself and sent the combined feasibility report for the construction of Dam across Anamalayar below the confluence point of Italiar for diversion of 2.5 TMC ft. to Lower Nirar Dam and to divert the balance water to Manali Ar for Hydro Power Generation (2x50 MW), to Tamil Nadu on 18.06.2013 On receipt of some necessary details from the Government of Kerala, suitable action will be taken.

கேரள அரசு இத்திட்டத்தினை தானே செயல்படுத்த விரும்புவதாகக் கூறி, ஆனைமலையாற்றின் குறுக்கே இட்டலியாறு ஆனைமலையாற்றில் சேரும் இடத்திற்குக் கீழ்ப்பகுதியில் அணைகட்டி கீழ் நீராறு அணைக்கு 2.5 டி.எம்.சி அடி நீரை திருப்பவும் மற்றும் எஞ்சிய நீர்வரத்தை மணலியாற்றிற்கு திருப்பி, 2 x 50 மெகாவாட் நீர்மின் உற்பத்தி செய்யும் நோக்குடன் கூடிய ஒருங்கிணைந்த தொழில்நுட்ப சாத்தியக்கூறு அறிக்கையை 18.06.2013 அன்று தமிழ்நாட்டிற்கு அனுப்பியது.
