أهداف التحالف العالمي للكنائس البروتستانتية هي تعزيز الوحدة والتفكير اللاهوتي والانتماء المسكوني بين الكنائس البروتستانتية المشيخية والمستقلة والمتحدة في جميع أنحاء العالم؛ والسعي إلى الحوار مع كنائس الطوائف الأخرى؛ وتشجيع الكنائس الأعضاء على مساعدة الآخرين من الضعفاء أو الفقراء أو المضطهدين؛ وتوحيد قواها للخدمة المشتركة حيثما دعت الحاجة إلى ذلك؛ وتعزيز الحريات والعدل والدفاع عنهما حيثما تعرضا للخطر في العالم

The aims of the World Alliance of Reformed Churches are to promote unity, theological reflection and ecumenical fellowship among Reformed, Presbyterian, Congregational and United Churches around the world; to pursue dialogue with churches of other traditions; to encourage member churches to support others who are weak, poor, or oppressed; to unite their forces in a common service wherever needed; and to promote and defend liberties and justice when threatened in the world
