While the country-statements dealt to a great extent with the impact of the economic crisis on the energy and natural gas sector, a number of delegations were in position to mention the stabilization or even the increase in the gas demand in their countries in 2009 including the sizeable infrastructure investments including upstream, LNG terminals, underground gas storage, national and international interconnections, all fostering the security of natural gas supply.

Les rapports des pays ont fait une large place aux répercussions de la crise économique sur le secteur de l’énergie et du gaz naturel mais un certain nombre de délégations ont été en mesure de faire état d’une stabilisation voire d’une augmentation de la demande de gaz dans leur pays en 2009, et notamment de gros investissements dans les infrastructures y compris en amont, les terminaux de GNL, le stockage souterrain du gaz et les interconnexions nationales et internationales, contribuant dans tous les cas à améliorer la sécurité de l’approvisionnement en gaz naturel.

Хотя заявления стран в значительной мере касались влияния экономического кризиса на энергетику и газовую промышленность, ряд делегаций смогли сообщить о стабилизации или даже повышении спроса на газ в их странах в 2009 году, в частности о крупных инвестициях в инфраструктуру, в том числе в объекты разведки и добычи, терминалы СПГ, подземные газохранилища и объединенные национальные и международные газотранспортные системы, все из которых содействуют повышению надежности снабжения природным газом.
