وتعتزم حكومة ألفارو كولوم تعزيز التعليم الثنائي اللغة المتعدد الثقافات من خلال زيادة الميزانية المخصصة له، والقيام بالاشتراك مع ممثلي منظمات الشعوب الأصلية بمناقشة هذا النموذج التعليمي في البلد واحترام نظرته إلى الكون، ونصوصه، ومواده وموارده التعليمية، وزيادة التعاقد مع المدرسين والمدرسين الثنائيي اللغة في مختلف مراحل التعليم واختصاصاته، وتحسين ظروف العمل المنصوص عليها في قانون تعميم التعليم الثنائي اللغة المتعدد الثقافات.

The Government of Álvaro Colom intends to strengthen intercultural bilingual education by increasing the allocated budget and by holding discussions with the representatives of the indigenous organizations of the intercultural bilingual education model in the country, respecting their world vision, texts, materials and teaching resources, and by increasing the number of bilingual teachers hired at the different levels and in the different forms of education, and improving the working conditions established by the Act to expand intercultural bilingual education.

El gobierno del Ingeniero Álvaro Colom se propone fortalecer la educación bilingüe intercultural, a través del incremento de su presupuesto y la discusión con los representantes de las organizaciones indígenas del modelo de la educación bilingüe internacional en el país, respetando su cosmovisión, sus textos, materiales y recursos de enseñanza, incrementando el número de contratación de maestros y maestras bilingües en los diferentes niveles y modalidades de educación, mejorando las condiciones laborales establecidas en la ley de generalización de la educación bilingüe intercultural.

Le Gouvernement d’Álvaro Colom se propose de renforcer l’enseignement bilingue interculturel, en augmentant son budget et en déterminant avec les représentants des organisations autochtones si ce modèle est effectivement adapté aux besoins du pays, en respectant sa vision du monde, ses textes, ses supports et ses moyens d’enseignement, en recrutant davantage d’enseignants et d’enseignantes bilingues aux différents niveaux et types d’enseignement et en améliorant les conditions de travail qui sont énoncées dans la loi de généralisation de l’enseignement bilingue interculturel.

Правительство инженера Альваро Колома намерено укреплять двуязычное межкультурное образования путем увеличения бюджетных ассигнований и обсуждения с представителями организаций коренных народов модели двуязычного межкультурного образования в стране при уважении мировоззрения коренных народов, их текстов, материалов и образовательных ресурсов, увеличении числа двуязычных учителей мужского и женского пола на различных уровнях образования и в различных формах образования, улучшении условий труда, как это предусмотрено в Законе о всеобщем внедрении двуязычного межкультурного образования.
