وفي إطار هذه الترتيبات التي دخلت حيز النفاذ في 1 أيلول/سبتمبر 1987، أعيدت صياغة خطة المساعدة على المصاريف الطبية غير المدفوع عنها اشتراكات كما هي واردة في التذييل هاء للنظام الإداري للموظفين لتنص على خطة التأمين الطبي التي كانت تقوم على أساس دفع الاشتراكات والتي كان هيكل استحقاقاتها يماثل باقي الخطط التي توفرها المنظمات في النظام الموحد.

Under these arrangements, which came into effect on 1 September 1987, the non-contributory Medical Expenses Assistance Plan as provided under Appendix E to the Staff Rules was reformulated to provide for the Medical Insurance Plan, that was contributory and whose benefit structure was comparable to other schemes offered by organizations in the common system.

В соответствии с этими мерами, которые были введены в действие 1 сентября 1987 года, план, не предусматривающий выплату взносов на оказание помощи в покрытии медицинских расходов, в соответствии с положениями добавления Е к Правилам о персонале был пересмотрен в целях учреждения плана медицинского страхования, предусматривающего внесение взносов и имеющего структуру выплаты пособий по плану медицинского страхования, сопоставимую с другими планами, предлагаемыми организациями общей системы.
