We pass through another gate and head towards the fresh air of this gorge, seeing new plants by the wayside, such as thyme and scented rosemary, with 'cornicabras' (Pistacia terebinthus) growing close to the cliffs. We also see whitethorn and strawberry trees (Arbutus unedo) in the shadier places as well as oleander growing alongside the banks of the stream, which we now have to cross.
